Millie and Anthony
What is your role at Trading in Style?
Millie - As a Consignment Agent, I am part of the initial stage of consigning with Trading in Style. Specifically, virtual consignment appointments and home concierge consignment visits and also product research, quality control, authentication and pricing.
Anthony - Like Millie, I’m also part of the Consignment Team. I curate and review inventory we receive from our consignors. Inspecting, researching and valuing items having regard to market and buyers’ expectation. I have a particular focus on bags and leather goods, which I have extensively followed on an international market for a long period of time.
What do you love about Trading in Style?
Millie - For me, working in pre-loved fashion is of great comfort. Knowing we are promoting eco-friendly and conscious fashion choices; we are lengthening the lifespan of clothing which in turn reduces the environmental impact the fashion industry has. Plus, I love fashion.
Anthony - Being able to appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of these products is so rewarding. Sustainability is such a topical issue at the moment and the buying and selling of pre-loved items is one way we can all contribute to it.
Tell us a little bit about your personal style.
Millie - The fashion industry is at times unpredictable and is continually evolving, which I think speaks to my own personal taste and style. Even though fashion is a constant revolving door where we see trends come and go, my style is always somewhat grounded because of my love for minimal, classic, tonal and neutral.
Anthony - I would say my personal style is androgynous, lively and experimental, with toned down, good-quality pieces.

Tiarne and Lindi
What is your role at Trading in Style?
Tiarne - I work across the edit and eCom departments as a Styling and Filming Assistant. I style, film and post the daily edits on Instagram stories and twice a week I style the eCom shoots.
Lindi - I manage the Consignment Department and occasionally cameo as a presenter for Trading in Style’s daily edits.
What do you love about Trading in Style?
Tiarne - I've always been passionate about sustainability, the environment and supporting a circular fashion economy. Resale plays such an important role in the fashion industry as it brings new life to a garment that would have otherwise been unused and inevitably end up in landfill. It brings me joy knowing that a garment lovingly gets to live a second (maybe third or fourth!) life with a new owner, not to mention the joy and confidence it brings to that person when wearing it.
Lindi - It’s such a fabulous fast moving business and no two days are the same. Having worked in fashion and retail my entire career, I love that Trading in Style is not a traditional retail business and that we are a business with purpose; Supporting the circular economy of fashion.
Tell us a little about your personal style.
Tiarne - It is always evolving! I gravitate towards dressing to how I feel each day. If I'm feeling playful and fun I reach for quirky and colour. Power dressing and suiting staples is for days when I feel like I need to be a boss-babe and get the job done. When I don't know what to wear, I reach for denim or the TIS favourite - a jumpsuit!
Lindi - I’m always in neutrals, and dress for comfort. I like to dress in layers, and always am attracted to natural fibres and textures.
What are your favourite brands?
Tiarne - Chanel - my weakness! Camilla & Marc - the best blazers, trenches and denim!!! Anna Quan - cannot live without AQ's rib knit pieces, Saint Laurent and Alemais.
Lindi - Some of my favourites brands are Australian designers such as bassike, Anine Bing and, Camilla and Marc. I do like to include some international designer accessories (don’t we all!) - some of my favourite brands are Loewe, Céline and Chanel.

What is your role at Trading in Style?
Gemma and Ruth - We are Consignment Agents and Retail Stylists. Our day to day consists of inspecting and approving consignments, processing online orders and consignment returns, along with assisting customers looking for a special pre-loved item. There are no two days the same in store at Trading in Style!
What do you love about Trading in Style?
Ruth and Gemma We love gaining knowledge of various luxury products and their market value whilst contributing to sustainability by reducing landfill and promoting the reuse of the amazing designer pieces.
Tell us a little about your personal style.
Ruth - I always opt of monotone and denim pieces and can’t pass by a great shirt. Edgy!
Gemma - My style varies. I mostly am attracted to monotone, denims and browns; chic. That being said, I do love colour and prints.
